Creating a Retail Environment

Nationwide is a Fortune 100 company and one of the largest diversified financial services companies in the world, with more than $157 billion in assets. It has three core businesses: property, casualty and life insurance; retirement savings; and asset management. Recently the company’s insurance branch developed an innovative approach to shopping for insurance: making it understandable and enjoyable by selling it in a retail environment. Ologie was asked to create that environment. The resulting retail space welcomes and engages the customer with a friendly laboratory of messages and offers a new approach to salesperson/customer relationships. Imagery is large and informative, colors are bright, and products are displayed in an easy-to-understand format. Open spaces allow for people to sit and learn more about Nationwide’s offerings. The store completely reinvents the way consumers shop for insurance.
